Kite making with students and parents

Recently Miss Manning, the Home School link, organised a fantastic event involving parents and students. Senan, who’s son Kerem is in 5th class gave a workshop on kite-making in the halla. Parents, siblings and the boys of 5th class worked together to make some fabulous kites.

The next day, the boys took the kites out for a trial run before bringing them home. Although weather conditions were a little too calm, we finally had lift off!!
