![]() The Discover Primary Science and Maths Programme (DPSM) is part of Science Foundation Ireland Education and Public Engagement Programme, which aims to increase interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) among students, teachers and members of the public. The website includes classroom activities, resources and quarterly e-newsletters.

AbpischoolsThis ABPI Resources for Schools website provides curriculum related resources for use by teachers and their pupils. The resources have been developed by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) and many link topics studied in school to their application in industry and in research. The ABPI schools website is highly valued by teachers and up to 210,000 people use the site each month. The site is free to use, has no adverts and no login is required. It contains high quality animations, interactive questions and a download library. |
Primary Science HomeworkPrimaryhomeworkhelp is the new website for Woodlands Junior homework resources. It contains hundreds of pages of easy to read information, facts and worksheets in the subject areas of literacy, numeracy, science, history, geography, art and religion. The website brings learning alive through easy to read information on a variety of topics for kids of all ages and abilities within the primary school spectrum. Since its launch it has accumulated a great amount of resources in its Science Zone. These activities resemble the look and feel of commercial software but need no installation as they are accessed online. You will, however, need Java and Flash installed to play these games. |
Scitt ScienceThis is a blog originally set up by a former teacher, Danny Nicholson, to share information with his primary science students in the UK . The site is also designed to support teachers who could do with help finding resources and ideas. It contains videos, experiments and useful reference links to other sites. |

The site is subdivided into each subject area within the curriculum. Each subject area is accessed through the relevant tab on the left hand side of the screen. There are lots of resources available to use in each area, including Maths and History but here in this module we are focusing on Science resources. |
