In November, Ms Walsh/ Ms Barrett registered our class with Care pack to send Christmas cards to some residents in a care home in Cork. We were matched with St. Luke’s Home in Blackrock. Recently we started making and designing our own cards to send. We have been working on them for the last two weeks. Today we got into pairs and walked over to the post office on Tramore Road. We took a class picture outside of our school before we started our walk. We went over the bridge and posted our cards. It was a great feeling knowing someone who may not get a card at Christmas will be getting one from us. We hope the residents enjoy the cards as much as we enjoyed making them.
