We have been very busy in Ms O’Dwyer’s class over the past few weeks. The boys have all been working very hard and have been making great progress. We have started reading and writing and all the boys are really enjoying the challenge of writing words independently. This week some of the boys wrote some sentences by themselves and they were extremely proud of themselves! We can’t wait to see how we will improve over the next few weeks.
The Junior Infants have been reading stories with the boys in 4th class and we have loved having the older boys visit our classroom! We hope that the Junior Infants will show off their reading skills when the 4th Class boys visit again!
We have been enjoying Happy Talk with Claire and the boys have loved having their family members come and visit our class. It is great to welcome visitors to our class!
The boys have been learning about 2D Shapes and they worked together to form shapes using their bodies. We have also been busy doing some lovely artwork and the boys created some beautiful prints.
Today the boys enjoyed a cinema day in the classroom! We watched the Paw Patrol movie and the boys were so well behaved. Have a great Midterm everyone!
