The boys in Ms Mc Gloin’s 4th Class have been putting in a huge effort with their reading and writing over the past few months. Today was World Book Day which the boys celebrated by setting up their own book tasting restaurant.
The boys divided the class library into different genres and set up the classroom as a restaurant where they welcomed Mr. Bergin’s 4th class to “taste” some new books. The waiters greeted the customers with a menu of books and then served two books for the customers to sample and review.
The boys had a great time exploring the new genres and left the classroom with lots of new recommendations from their friends!
We have lots of book worms in 4th class. The boys in Ms Mc Gloin’s class also made a great effort to dress up as their favourite character for World Book Day. Seeing how much the boys enjoyed their books at Christmas and as a reward for their brilliant reading they each received a present of a book of their interest to take home. Keep up the great reading boys!
