After the major success of the Run around Europe initiative, a new event was created in Togher Boys School this year. On Friday, every boy in the school participated in the inaugural School Run in Clashduv Park. The event was divided into 3 categories; infants and first class, second and third class and fourth, fifth and sixth class. There was a certificate of completion for every child who completed the run and a first, second and third prize for the two older categories.
The event was a huge success and it really showed the fantastic atmosphere and sense of community within the school. It was also wonderful to note the marked improvement in running across the school since we started the Run around Europe challenged. Congratulations to everyone on a brilliant effort.
