Heritage in Schools Visit

Heritage in Schools came to visit on the 15th of May. In 3rd Class the boys learned all about wildlife, plants, animals and nature. We went for a walk down the Wella and had to complete a task using a checklist to identify some of the different plants and animals we saw and heard. The boys had lots of questions and were excited to learn some very interesting facts. We learned that we can figure out what type of bird it is by listening to them singing and without having to look at them. Birds singing is a sign of them defending their territory. The first bird to sing is the bravest.

A great day was had by all!
