Our esteemed principal Mr. Kelly recently completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, USA. Mr. Kelly completed his thesis this summer and over the last two years the whole staff were engaged with him on his journey. We focused on the area of Literacy and as a staff worked together to improve outcomes for all our pupils. It was invigorating for all involved and the improvements all round are phenomenal, we have created a culture of reading in the school and all pupils were gifted with books on three occasions during the year.

As a staff we have been inspired by Mr. Kelly and we have a leadership culture which is inclusive of all staff where we work together to promote excellence in our school. On completion of his Master’s Degree this summer Mr. Kelly was honoured to achieve the highest accolade in his graduating class and was awarded the ‘ Leading With Zeal’ award from the university. We wish to congratulate our principal and thank him for his wonderful efforts to enhance our school . We were delighted too to have visitors from the University of Notre Dame visit our school over the last two years and they were highly impressed by our wonderful school.
