The Junior and Senior Infants were very lucky to be invited to Tory Top Library today to meet with author Nadine Hughes Campbell. Nadine wrote the books ‘Noah’s Cork Adventure’ and ‘Noah’s Berlin Adventure’. Nadine read both of these beautiful books for the boys and the boys asked Nadine questions after. The boys really enjoyed both stories and it was fantastic to meet a real life author!
After listening to Nadine read her books, the boys got the opportunity to sit with their parents and family members to engage in some shared reading. This was a lovely opportunity for the boys to look at some lovely books and see what the library has to offer. It was a lovely morning and we all really enjoyed our visit. Hopefully we will visit the library again soon as we all love to listen to stories and read books together. Thank you to Ms Manning for organising the trip and for all the staff at Tory Top Library for making us feel so welcome!
