Over the past number of years Togher Boys’ have been reviewing and exploring our school mission , beliefs & values. We worked alongside staff from ACE (Alliance for Catholic Education) Ireland who helped us to discuss and refine our beliefs & values as a school. This helped us focus on the reason we are all working in Togher Boys’ and what makes our school such a unique place for our students. It reminds us that our students are at the centre of everything we do and helps us to live the values of our school every day.
To celebrate our mission , beliefs and values the school commissioned local artist Kevin O’Brien to paint murals around the school. These help us to share our beliefs while also reminding us to try to live them every day. The school would like to thank Kevin O’Brien for the beatuiful art work, ACE Ireland for their guidance and thank Cork City Council for supporting our project through their Creative Communities Grant.
