Our 3rd class Gaelic Footballers have been training hard at lunchtime and after school since Christmas. This week they participated in the Sciath na Scol indoor blitz in Bishopstown where they played some excellent games against Rochestown, Scoil Naomh Eltin and St Joseph’s.
The most encouraging thing from the recent football is that so many of the boys have decided to join the Barrs. We were delighted to support the Allianz #StopTheDrop initiative which aims to keep boys and girls playing sport. Having so many boys joining the Barrs recently is something we are so proud of in school as playing sport is fantastic for the body and the mind!
