Ms Mc Gloin’s fourth class were delighted to welcome Eimear from KPMG, Cork as part of the Junior Achievement, Climate Change and You programme. The boys learned about climate change, global warming and how human action is impacting our natural world. They explored their carbon footprint and discussed the small steps we all can take everyday to help reduce our carbon footprint.
The boys have asked you to try to…
- Be Travel Smart-Walk, bike, or take public transport instead of riding in a car.
- Save Energy- Turn off lights, TVs, and electronics when not in use.
- Be water wise- Turn off the tap while brushing teeth.
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle– Put rubbish in the correct bins
“The smallest footsteps can lead to the biggest changes—every little action to protect our planet matters 🌍”

Thank you Eimear, KPMG and Junior Achievement!
