Last week, our pupils had the pleasure of attending the These Are the People in Our Neighbourhood event, hosted by Togher Tidy Towns. It was a fantastic celebration of the many wonderful groups and individuals who make our community such a special place.
The event was filled with fun and creativity. Our pupils had the chance to plant a sunflower, create artwork to be displayed on the wall, and even take home a free book! We were especially excited to see groups like Dogs for the Disabled and to hear an inspiring speech from the Lord Mayor of Cork.
We want to say a big thank you to Togher Tidy Towns and all of the wonderful volunteers involved for inviting us and for all the work they do to bring our community together. It’s days like this that remind us just how lucky we are to be part of such a caring and active community.
