The pupils in Ms. Crowley’s Second Class have been busy learning about Autumn with a particular focus on trees.
They went on an Autumn walk where they examined the various types of trees that grow in the area by identifying their leaves and their seeds. Pupils gathered acorns and conkers but their favourite part was the helicopter seeds from Sycamore trees.
After studying the Monarch Butterfly and its migration path, we decided to use leaves to make prints for the wings of the Butterfly.
