Both 6th classes went on a 2 day ‘Emerging Tech’ workshop in the NIMBUS building in MTU, a hub of research and innovation for technology. The boys were treated to some fantastic activities and insights over the course of the 2 days. They learned about: cybersecurity, hacking, AI, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, coding and programming. A truly unforgettable experience that the lads thoroughly enjoyed. A big thank you to the course lead, Dr Clíodhna Sargent for inviting our lads as 1 of 10 schools to take part in this initiative. It’s fantastic to have a link to a college so close to our school that many of our boys will go on to study and do wonderful things.
