An Autumn Trip To Farren Woods

Ms. Collins’ Junior Infants have been very busy in the classroom learning about Autumn for the past couple of weeks. We were so lucky to have the opportunity to bring these boys on a very special nature trip to Farren Woods. The boys embraced the great outdoors and explored their new surroundings with curiousity. They gathered different coloured leaves,identified the different parts of the trees and found many different types of nuts and pine cones. We were met by a family of ducks and even got to feed some deer grass and carrots. We had loads of fun in the playground and finished off our wonderful trip with a picnic. It was a fabulous trip and these amazing young boys are growing in independence everyday!
