It’s been a busy October in Senior infants. The boys had great fun this Wednesday showing off their halloween costumes. Afterwards , the boys watched a movie and enjoyed a treat from the parents association!
At the beginning of October the boys learned all about Autumn. We read ‘The Scarecrow’ by Beth Ferry and the boys did some excellent writing reflecting how they are kind like the scarecrow in the book.
We also went on some nature walks and learned about some of the trees in our local area. The boys gathered some autumn leaves and made colourful leaf rubbings!
