Togher took on St. Columbas of Douglas in their debut fixture of the FAI’s new 11-a-side tournament for schools. The boys put in a brilliant performance and were very unlucky to be beaten on the day in the knockout event. A scoreline of 4-2 doesn’t tell the full story as Togher created much more chances with some brilliant football and were unlucky not to hit the back of the net a few more times. Kelvin in 6th class and Steve in 5th got our goals on the day. The boys can be very proud of their efforts and there will be plenty more football events to look forward to in the school over the coming year.
