In 3rd class, we’ve getting creative in our writing and artwork.
Before the Halloween break, the boys studied the brilliant writer and film director Tim Burton, in English. Inspired by the quirky, macabre world of Tim Burton, we then created some incredible ‘Burtonesque’ artwork full of lots of character.

We also explored poetry in our literacy lessons, writing fun and imaginative pieces that capture a slightly spooky side of storytelling, without being too scary. It’s been wonderful to see how our writing and artwork connect, bringing our own eerie, magical ideas to life.

This week, we were very excited to receive our books from our writing workshop with Fighting Words in Graffiti Theatre! Having the opportunity to see their writing as a real published story was very exciting for the boys, they each received their own copy to take home with them. Find our story here..
