Developing skills through reading, music and games.

This term has been an exciting one for the boys in Coiscéim, filled with creativity, learning, and memorable moments. From exploring new books to developing social skills through games, our classroom has been buzzing with energy and enthusiasm.

A Love for Reading

Students immersed themselves in a wide range of stories this term—adventures, mysteries, and imaginative tales that sparked thoughtful discussions and inspired wonderful writing of their own. Our reading corners were always busy, and it was fantastic to see students sharing books, recommending favourites, and growing as confident readers. We celebrated Irish Book week in October reading books by Irish authors as well as receiving our end of term gift of a book from our teacher which we were delighted with!

Music and Games That Bring Us Together

From strategy games to active outdoor challenges, students enjoyed a variety of games designed to build cooperation, resilience, and critical thinking. Whether indoors or outside, the laughter and friendly competition made every session special. We are also proud of our two boys who are learning instruments with Music Generation.

Fun Every Step of the Way

What truly made this term shine was the joy the boys brought to each activity. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and kindness made our classrooms vibrant places to learn and grow. We’re proud of everything they’ve accomplished and are excited for even more adventures between now and Christmas!
