Junior and Senior Infants took a trip to Tory Top Library today along with the Junior Infant parents. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful amenity in our local area and it was such a great opportunity to visit the library this morning. We place such an importance on reading in our school and along with Ms Manning we are hoping that our families will be encouraged to join the library and share a love of reading.
During our visit today, we met with the BFG from Roald Dahl’s novel! The boys listened to the BFG telling stories about dreams and some boys were lucky enough to help the BFG by catching some dreams!
The boys thoroughly enjoyed this event in the library and we would like to thank the staff of Tory Top Library and Ms Manning for organising a great morning out. Thanks also to all the parents and grandparents that joined us today! We are already looking forward to our next visit!
