The boys in Junior and Senior Infants and First Class have been participating in Maths for Fun on Fridays for the last 6 weeks. Maths games help the boys to learn in a fun, safe space, bringing a deeper understanding to various mathematical concepts. They help foster problem-solving skills, strategic-thinking, persistence and collaboration while also helping children see the relevance of Maths in real-life situations. They offer opportunities for the boys to develop their social-emotional skills, teaching patience, turn-taking and sportsmanship.
