A huge congratulations to our 5th Class debating team who had a great victory over Ballyhass NS in Round 1 of the Concern National Debating Competition, held recently over Zoom.
Caelan, Ayaan and Emmet successfully proposed the motion that ‘Social Media Should be Banned for Under 16s’. Muhammad was the debate’s chairperson while Jacob was our timekeeper.
This was a real whole-class effort as everyone shared ideas, wrote their own debates and came up with rebuttals for the arguments.
