Since returning to school in January, boys from third to sixth class have been busy getting back to work on their Lego skills. Their first challenge of the year was to design a maze through which a small pinball could navigate using gravity. Firstly, the boys designed their own intricate mazes, then challenged their partners to solve them. There were some interesting designs which led to some tricky puzzles. Students used problem solving skills and creative thinking to overcome obstacles and ultimately improve their overall Lego building ability, all while having fun!

Table Tennis
Table Tennis Club has also restarted for fifth and sixth class pupils as they prepare for an upcoming inter-school blitz at the end of February. The boys enjoyed some excellent practice last week through three competitive mini-tournaments. Mr. O’Sullivan’s classroom was transformed into a lively table tennis arena, and there were three group champions — Charlie, Ahmed and Soud. We look forward to continuing our skill development at next week’s session and to the exciting blitz ahead. Check out some pictures of last weeks meeting below.
