We had a fabulous day in the Barrs this Friday as 38 boys from 2nd and 3rd class took on their Barrs teammates and neighbours from Glasheen in a series of fun football games. For many this was their first opportunity to represent the school and they did it with great enthusiasm and skill.
We had a special surprise at the end when Cork football star Steven Sherlock came to talk to the boys and present medals on behalf of the Barrs. Steven is a past pupil of our school and we are so proud of all his exploits for club and county!
