Junior Infant News

The boys in Ms O’Dwyer’s Junior Infants have been working very hard over the past few weeks and it’s hard to believe how fast time is going! Over the last few weeks the boys have been making huge strides in terms of their writing and their reading. The boys can now choose their own books from the library and read independently! They are bursting with pride at their own achievements and it’s great to see! We can’t believe the progress they have made and are looking forward to seeing what they can achieve in the last term!

The boys donned their green for St Patrick’s Day when we had Lá Ghlas in school! Bhí céilí beag againn freisin agus bhain na búachaillí an-sult as!

The last few weeks have been busy in our classroom with lots going on! The boys enjoyed making some Easter crafts when all the hard work was completed! We also went on a Spring walk yesterday where we saw some signs of Spring. We saw some lovely daffodils and listened to the birds chirping! We look forward to the good weather and getting out and about in our local community!

As a reward for all the good work, the boys got to have an Easter egg hunt today! They searched the classroom and found lots of lovely chocolate eggs! We hope everyone has a lovely Easter break and are looking forward to seeing you soon!
