Ms Curran’s 5th class boys have been busy putting their engineering skills to the test. They were tasked with design challenges as part of their STEAM project with UCC.
They engaged in an egg drop challenge, a rocket challenge and a raft/boat challenge.
They worked in teams to mindshower ideas, design and build prototypes and finally, test their designs!
Thanks to engineer Shane McDonagh who inspired and motivated the boys throughout their project!
