On Friday 15th March, students from across the country wanted to let their voices be heard in relation to Climate Change. Ms Moynihan’s 6th class took part in the protest as representatives from our school.
The strikes and demonstrations are part of a global movement ignited by 16-year-old Swedish student Greta Thunberg, who initiated Friday protests outside the Swedish parliament eight months ago.
Remember that we can all do our bit to help combat climate change. We encourage children and their parents to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle whenever possible. We also encourage children to walk or cycle to school.
