3rd Class trip to the lough

The boys paid a special visit to The Lough this morning with their teachers. We had been learning all about the history of The Lough in our classes and had discovered that there is even a legend of The Lough. We discussed different birds and their habitats, paying particular attention to the swan. We also discovered that it takes one mile to walk around the perimeter of The Lough. We counted the amount of steps it took us to walk to and from The Lough and guess what, we did 6711 steps in total. Well done boys, your teachers are really proud of you.
