Jake Sweeney’s explores the lives of Cork heroes involved in the War of Independence.

Since September Jake has been working extremely hard exploring the lives of people from Cork that were involved in the War of Independence. He has chosen six people from Cork to learn more about their lives and the impact they had on Irish history. He gained so much more knowledge from completing this project. The people he chose were: Peg Duggan, Muriel McSwiney, Terrence McSwiney, Michael Fitzgerald, Joseph Murphy and Tomás MacCurtain.
