This week our 4th class boys learned about composting and had an opportunity to get their hands dirty in the garden. Sonia Caldwell visited the school, showcasing her expertise on nature and crafts. Most of the boys loved getting stuck in and searching for different creatures amongst the compost. Although some boys were happier observing, all of the boys got a chance to put their hands to use by creating their own craft designs, inspired by the plants and creatures in the garden. Having recently planted their spring bulbs, it is clear that there are many horticulturists in the making in 4th class who are keen to care for the school garden.
