Coiscéim are learning about the Trees of Ireland this month. We went on nature walks to the Lough and along the Wella to see if we could identify some trees by their leaves!
In art we made some ‘sycamore leaf’ plates using clay. First we used rolling pins to flatten the clay. Next we cut out the shape of our leaves. Then we added our own designs. When the clay dried we painted the leaves!
