Taking advantage of the glorious summer sunshine, Ms Curran’s 2nd Class recently paid a visit to the Lough. They learned about the legend of King Corc, his daughter Fíoruisce and her young prince! History and geography gave way to science, as the boys admired the large population of swans and other wild fowl in this freshwater limestone lake. Finally, fun was had in the playground before we picnicked in the park.
