Today we had a visit from the Lifetime Lab with the hands on primary Maths Workshop. The workshop enabled our pupils from fourth,fifth and sixth classes to explore a multi sensory approach to the learning of mathematics and was a stimulating and fun approach to learning.
We explored maths through sight, sound, touch and movement. We undertook activities covering multiplication, symmetry, problem solving and transformations. We worked in groups and thoroughly enjoyed the games on offer. Fergal and Dave, our tutors were most helpful and we really enjoyed our day.
