As part of the Our World project run by Irish Aid, the students of 5th class have been busy recently as they explored life in Sierra Leone throught the context of the work being done by Irish Aid in promoting the advancement of education in the country. Throughout weeks of research, discussions, debates and planning, the students debated and discussed the merits and importance of promoting education, learned about the life of Malala Youzafazai and presented projects on Sierra Leone.
This was a really rewarding experience which broadened our horizons, pushed us out of our comfort zones and raised awareness of the world around us!
