A great morning was had by all in the Togher community this morning with the unveiling of the signage in our school garden depicting all the birds who live in our village of Togher. This was following on from the school and the Tidy Town’s committee working together over the previous months to watch and track the birds around and record their presence in our community. It will provide a great opportunity for the boys in the school to learn about nature in our area.
We were so proud of our senior infants boys who recited their poem as Gaeilge. They were amazing and the onlookers from the community were thrilled to hear them. The boys from Ms. O’ Donoghue’s class gave a wonderful demonstration of Lámh also.
Well done to all and we are very grateful to Carolyn Miller and the Tidy Town’s Committee for the invitation to be part of this uplifting event.
We were delighted to hand over the sum of €2615 towards the fund for the Palmbury fire.

Well done to all involved and we are delighted to have been part of such a memorable event.
