Ms Walsh’s third class were learning all about bridges. We watched some videos about the different types of structures of some famous bridges from around the world. We also went to look at the bridge in Togher near our school to see what kind of materials were used in making it. We decided to make our own bridges in the classroom using matrials that we had at home and in school. We designed the bridge before we built them. We had so much fun constructing our bridges. It was a great experience for us and it has sparked some interest for future careers in engineering.
