Recently, the boys in fifth class got a special visit from two professional accountants working in the company PWC. They spoke to the class about entrepreneurship, product designing, pricing and promotion. The class found it very insightful and enjoyable! Before leaving, fifth class were given the challenge to become entrepreneurs and create their very own product. The boys got to work quickly, brainstorming ideas, creating templates for posters and sketching up various artwork for display. We had some very imaginative products, including a self-cooling pillow, an automotic fishing rod, edible lollipop sticks and online-controlled board games.

Before long, the girls from PWC arrived back, excited to see what the class had put together. Each of the four groups had to present their business idea to the potential investors, Dragon’s Den style! Each group were commended for their creativity, unique selling points, safety features and overall hard work. Take a look at some pictures of the boys presenting below!

Overall, it was a great learning experience for our fifth-class students. Future entrepreneurs in the making!
