The boys in Junior Infants went on their school tour last Tuesday to the Farm at Grenagh where they had enjoyed a fantastic day. There were lots of excited boys boarding the bus that morning and they were excited for their first school tour!
When we arrived at the farm, we visited the Fairy Garden where the boys found lots of fairy doors and then it was off to feed the ducks and the donkeys. We spent some time playing on the zipline and having a go at the obstacle course as well as having a turn on the go-karts! The boys then got a spin around the farm which was a highlight of the day!
We saw lots of animals as we made our way around the farm. We saw pigs, horses, sheep and lambs! But our favourites were the rabbits. We went on a tractor ride where we saw the crops growing and we spotted lots of animals in the bigger fields!
The boys had a wonderful day and the journey was a great opportunity for some boys to take a well needed rest!
