World Book Day Ireland

On Thursday March the 2nd our 5th Class visited the senior infants for 30 minutes to celebrate World Book Day. We read in groups to the infants and after we read a book we discussed what we read. We had to ask them a question or two about the book What colour was the duck in the Ugly Duckling story?
What type of different birds were in the story?
We also asked them to read small parts of the story. All of the children in Senior infants were fantastic at answering all of the questions and their reading is improving all of the time. We really enjoyed it and the infant had great fun. We hope to do it again soon. By two fifth class boys.
