On Sunday I was fighting up in the north side. I was fighting in the County Championships. After winning my first fight I went into the Semi Final. I had to get weighed in to see was there anyone my weight. I got weighed in and went home and waited for a phone call. Two hours later we got the call that I would be fighting a boxer from Riverstown boxing club. After a hard fought fight I was declared the winner. I then had to wait until the next day to see if there was anyone to fight me. On Sunday morning I woke up and I got told there was no one else to fight in my division so I was the 2017 Champion of Cork. I went up to the boxing club and got a medal and a certificate. I’m now going on to compete for the Munster title.
