The following after school activities will take place in Togher BNS after the mid-term break.
- Chess – Mr Murphy will be giving chess lessons on Thursdays for 3rd and 4th classes in the school. He will be giving out forms to pupils that are interested this week. Please note that these classes will be limited. Cost €2 a lesson.
- Computer Class – Mr. Kelly will be starting a computer class for 5th & 6th class boys on Tuesdays from 14:30 – 15:30. He will be introducing the boys to basic programming skills and fun websites that make learning fun! Limited numbers due to number of computers in computer room. Cost €2 per lesson.
- The After School Activity Club will be held in the hall on Mondays from 14:30-15:30 if we have sufficient numbers. The cost is €30 for 6 classes. Payment must be made with enrolment and refunds will not be permitted for classes not attended. Classes will be provided by Lisa Bolger, a Sport and Exercise Scientist with vast coaching experience.
- Art Classes – Ms. Mangan and Ms. O Sullivan will be holding an Art Club on Wednesdays after school from 14:35-15:35. Interest forms will be sent home soon.
- Please note: If there is an over subscription for any activity, places will be allotted on a lottery basis.
