Scratch Classes

scratch_mit_labThis week we are going to be starting Scratch Programming classes with boys from 5th class after school.

With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community.

Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.

Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge. What is Scratch?  Check out the video below.

Once you have logged into your account you might need some help. Click on the SCRATCH HELP CARDS to get loads of cool ideas.

 

When we have our projects created and saved with can share them with others in a studio. Scratch Surprise Studio.
