Ms. O’Connor’s Third Class conducted a science experiment to measure the quantity of sugar in various drinks. The boys first estimated the number of grams and teaspoons in nine popular drinks. Each group got two drinks to compare and measure the amount of sugar. The boys had to examine the drink labels to see how many grams of sugar were in each drink. The boys then used weighing scales and balances to measure
the exact amount of sugar in each bottle, using sugar granules and sugar cubes . The class were shocked at the amount of sugar in their drinks. Holding the bags of sugar weighed out, helped Third Class realise how much sugar was in common drinks. This is a display that Third Class created to show you a comparison of the amount of sugar in the various drinks. The message is- Think before you drink.
