Building update

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am delighted to inform you that the building works are progressing well. Some points I would like people to discuss with their children:

Morning time

• School gates will open at 8:35am
• All pupils will go straight to their classrooms where there will be teachers /SNAs supervising.
  • Classes from Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st Class (Ms. Barrett’s), 5th and 6th class will enter through NEW GATES next to the prefabs.
  • Classes from 1st/2nd (Ms. Curran), 2nd, 3rd and 4th will enter through the Church gate.
  • There will be no access to Togher Girls’ School from Togher Boys’ School. Please follow the signs to access Togher Girls’ School due to Health and Safety.

Collection at home time

• Classes from Junior Infants, Senior Infants, will line up in the yard next to the prefabs. Pupils may be collected from their lines.
• Classes from 1st (Ms. Barretts), 5th and 6th may be collected from the yard by the prefabs.
• Classes from 1st/2nd (Ms. Curran), 2nd, 3rd and 4th will be lined up in the Church yard by their teacher and may be collected from their lines.

Health and Safety

• During the building works we will be working to ensure that everyone that attends the school is safe. Please co-operate with all staff to ensure we have a safe and happy year.
• If at any stage you any concerns with respect to Health and Safety please come and inform us.
