Making Bird feeders in 3rd Class

As part of our Construction theme this month, we decided to make bird feeders out of recycled milk cartons for our school garden. This project had many different steps, from spray painting to assembling and so on. Last Friday we hung our bird feeders on the tree outside our classroom. Each bird feeder was filled with bird seed. All week, we have been observing all the different types of birds using our bird feeders. As we are concentrating on acts of kindness this month, we thought we would also include our local birds and ways in which we can provide for them during the cold Winter months. Well done boys, you should be very proud of all the work you have done.
