Last Friday the 23rd of May, the two 3rd classes went on a school walk in aid of Pieta House. We are also as a school trying to achieve the Amber Flag and we are instilling the motto, “bring blue and green into our school day”. There are so many fantastic walks in the Togher Parish. As we had visited The Lough before Christmas, we decided to go on a local walk. The boys were very excited as we embarked on our walk. We observed the changes in the trees in Spring and we talked about all the varieties of flowers we could spot on our walk. Would you believe we even spotted an egret too on the river bank! The boys were so well behaved and both teachers were so proud of them. They are already looking forward to our next walk.
