Fifth class have been looking at various acids and bases in our environment.We decided to conduct a science experiment using vinegar (an acid)and baking soda (a base). We discovered that a chemical reaction occurred between the vinegar and the baking soda when mixed together.
The chemical reaction between the vinegar and baking soda creates a gas called carbon dioxide.Carbon dioxide is the same type of gas used to make the carbonation in fizzy drinks.
