Senior Infants had lots of fun embracing their inner scientists this week!
We were learning about how living things need food and water to survive! However, we had a question! How does the water travel from the roots, all the way to the leaves of a plant?
To help us understand how this process worked, we cut the ends off pieces of celery and placed them in jars of water with food colouring in them!
All the boys made predictions as to what might happen!
Everyone was very surprised with the blue celery! Have a look at the pictures!
