As we come to the end of the year our 41 sixth class boys are graduating from Togher Boy’s National School after eight wonderful years. Each boy has developed strong friendships throughout their time in Togher BNS and we are so proud of each and everyone of them.
They have shared together, learned together, played together, laughed together and on occasion fought with each other! They have shared highs and lows, but on all occasions support and look out for each other. All of the boys have their own extraordinary talents and we know that they will go on from Togher Boys and prosper. Where ever they go from here they will go far. Just remember us here in Togher Boys’ NS when you become famous!
We know that this is an emotional day for the parents and the boys’ families. Each child’s family has been supportive, inspiring, encouraging and reassuring to their own son. Families play an integral part in the boys’ school lives: made lunches, acted as taxi drivers, dried tears and shared happy moments. The boys are so fortunate to have such loving families. We would like to thank you for working in partnership with us to provide a holistic education for your child.
We would like to thank all the staff who have worked with the boys over the years, but especially Ms Moynihan and Mr Murphy for the extraordinary work that they have done with them this year. Every challenge has been met with a solution by both teachers and the boys have great memories from their final year in Togher BNS.
On the 2nd of October we will meet everyone again for Confirmation and we would like to thank Fr Ben for all the support he has given the boys over the year.
We ask that the boys always believe in themselves and be the best that they can be.
The Board of Management, staff and the entire school community, wish each child and his family all the best on the exciting journey that lies ahead.
